dp light rails
With TV-TRACK, we offer four multifunctional profile rails that can be used as an effective lighting rail system in studios of any size. They enable economical and flexible horizontal positioning of lighting equipment and spotlights.
The fundamental distinguishing feature of the four profile types is their size, which results in different load capacities for the rails. The TT 100 type is a particularly narrow profile that is suitable for small to medium-sized applications in view of its load capacity, while the TT 120 system is designed for studios with larger spans. The TT 200 profile is designed for large rooms and heavy loads such as telescopic light hangers and point hoists. The TT 100D rail can be used to construct truss systems.
TV-TRACK TT 100 und TT 120
The TV-TRACK system consists of an aluminium profile that has a channel for trolleys on one side, to which spotlights and other equipment can be attached and moved. On the other side, the profile provides power and signal supply to the equipment.
In the simplest application, the rail is equipped with sockets attached to the side of the profile according to customer requirements. The rail also functions as a cable duct, eliminating the need for additional cable trays. In addition to load cables, data lines for control signals can also be integrated, and side cover plates create a closed system. Combined with the high strength of aluminium, this results in minimal installation effort.
A higher degree of flexibility is achieved by using a power rail that can be attached to the profile in just a few simple steps. It allows up to 7 circuits to be supplied per rail element – with a total load capacity of up to 60A per rail. For longer distances, the rails can be divided into individual sections and electrically separated from each other by insulating pieces that can be driven over. The busbars are suitable both for the direct feed of dimmer circuits and for supplying LED lights with control via DMX.
In this case, the trolley has a current collector and a socket for connecting the spotlight. The trolley and current collector are directly coupled, eliminating the need for the usual drag chains and spiral cables and allowing the devices to be moved along the entire length of the rail without having to reconnect them.
Sockets or power rails can be attached to one side of the TT 100 profile, while the TT 120 type has these mounting options on both sides. An extensive range of trolleys and accessories round off the system.
TC-TRACK TT100D
The TV-TRACK TT100D running rail system complements the TT 100 and TT 120 profile series. The system consists of TT 100 D rail sections, which can be moved as crossbars in fixed pairs of TT 100 or TT 120 support/running rail sections with special carriages, either straight or at an angle of up to +/- 45°.
Connection plates with sockets, cable carriers and cover plates are available for supplying power and signals to the lighting devices. These can be mounted on both the support/running rails and the crossbars. As is standard with the TV-TRACK system, the cables are routed in the running rail profiles, eliminating the need for additional cable ducts. It is also possible to supply power to the rails via attached power rails.
TV Track TT200
The TT 200 profile rounds off the TV-TRACK system at the top. It is designed for use with telescopic light hangers or point lifts. Compared to the steel profiles otherwise used, it offers significantly higher precision. The installation effort and space requirements, even in conjunction with industrially manufactured conductor rails, are significantly lower. Trolleys and thus complete devices can be removed at any point on the rail by opening the trolley.
TV-TRACK MFC
The TT 100 MFC track channel system is specially designed for rooms that are only occasionally used for television recordings or other events. The system fits elegantly into existing suspended ceilings, yet offers all the advantages of the TV-TRACK system: easy positioning of spotlights and other equipment with trolleys on the ceiling, installation of plugs, fuses and cable clamps directly in the channel, simple installation.
