CYCLO-LED: Individual, economical and creative!
The CYCLO-LED system makes coloured background design even more flexible. By arranging LEDs in a narrow grid behind a projection foil, a wide variety of graphics, tickers and even video content can be displayed over a large area. This reduces the required distance to the projection foil to just 20 cm.
In this advanced backlighting system, multicolour LEDs with the primary colours red, green and blue are placed behind a projection film and shine through it. The CYCLO LED system consists of special extruded aluminium profiles of variable length equipped with Schnickschnack LED modules C100-1000 with 10 multicolour LEDs spaced 10 cm apart (pixel pitch). Other LED modules, e.g. with RGBW LEDs or with a smaller pixel pitch, are also available. This type of rear projection offers considerable advantages over conventional illumination with surface lights:
- Distance to the projection surface only 20 cm, thus more playing space
- long service life
- lower power consumption and heat load
- RGB individual control per light point (pixel)
- Optimal lighting design (scrolling text, graphics, video content)
- high colour saturation and colour rendering
- No active cooling via heat sink required
- Virtual rooms with lean green box
To adjust the illumination even in curved areas, the aluminium support profiles of the projection film can be individually adapted to the conditions of the studio using a patented technology.
