dp curtain rails
With the CYCLO-TRACK system, we have developed a universally applicable curtain rail system for film and television studios, theatres and multi-purpose halls that is perfect for use wherever effective and functional suspension of horizons or curtains is required. Thanks to its modular design with system components tailored to individual customer requirements, track systems of any size – including multi-track systems with switches, parking tracks and lowering stations – can be implemented cost-effectively.
CYCLO-TRACK CT 40 und CT 70
Two different versions are available, which differ in the size of the rail profile. The CT 40 rail profile was designed for smaller rooms with shorter distances. With its compact design and low weight, it allows for particularly tight rail radii and can therefore be perfectly integrated into the structural conditions of narrow rooms. The CT 70 system is available for more extensive rail systems in larger rooms and offers even higher load-bearing capacity and strength, which means that even fewer suspensions are required and even long distances can be covered with excellent torsional rigidity.
The profiles of both systems are made of high-quality aluminium and have specially shaped running surfaces that ensure the curtain rollers run particularly smoothly and quietly. Ball-bearing smooth-running rollers are used, which enable the curtains to be moved quietly and without great effort.
Depending on the application, the individual rail elements are designed with a length of up to 4 m and are joined together using robust connecting elements for longer distances. Additional pinning guarantees perfect coupling and results in a permanently shock-free transition between the individual rail sections.
For multi-track installations, it is possible to integrate a switch system that creates a variable transition from one rail to another and allows curtains to be drawn between parallel rails. The compact switches are designed as a modular system and can be easily adapted to the respective requirements. They are equipped either with a standard control bell for manual adjustment or with a motorised drive.
An optional lowering station makes it easier to install or change curtains, especially in rooms with higher ceilings, as it allows a single-track section of the system to be lowered to working height by motor. Special guide pieces on the fixed part of the rail create a smooth connection to the lowerable rail section, enabling the closed rail section to be traversed without jerking. An automatic closing mechanism prevents the curtain rollers from accidentally running out.
