The video compact studio for Deutsche Welle’s foreign broadcasting was equipped with CYCLO-LED backlighting. The LED wall is used for virtual studio productions (chroma key) as well as for displaying color gradients for productions with real scenery. The CYCLO-LED backlighting extends in an L-shape over a length of 16.5 m and a height of 4 m. Despar supplied and installed the entire system with control and projection film.
The system was handed over in October 2014.
