Since 18 August 2017, there has been a new venue for culture in Ingelheim am Rhein. On this day, the kING Culture and Congress Hall opened its doors and has been setting a new pace in the heart of the red wine town ever since: concerts of all musical genres, theatre, cabaret, dance, variety shows and musicals await visitors. With its inspiring architecture, special atmosphere and unique acoustics, the kING is a venue offering ideal conditions for cultural events and conferences.

The hall was equipped with dimmers from ETC, a grandMA2 light lighting console, spotlights from ETC and SGM, and moving lights from Varilite, including the necessary infrastructure with DMX and Ethernet network, connection boxes, and installation measures.

In addition, the event hall of the neighbouring Ingelheim Training Centre (WBZ) was equipped with modern spotlight technology from ETC and SGM, as well as an ETC Color Source 20 lighting console for control. The Ingelheim Training Centre (WBZ) is a youth and adult education facility. It comprises the Fridtjof Nansen Academy for Political Education, the adult education centre at the WBZ, the music school and the youth education centre.
