Deutsche Welle Bonn, Video Kompaktstudio
Deutsche Welle’s new compact video studio was equipped with TV-TRACK and CYCLO-TRACK track systems and a CYCO-LED horizon lighting system. The former radio studio was converted into a television recording studio to meet new programme requirements.
The CYCLO LED wall, which is 2.75 metres high and spans three sides of the studio, is used for any background design involving colours, graphics, etc. For virtual studio productions, the studio floor is painted Ultimatte green and the LED wall is adjusted to match this colour.
In the middle section of the horizontal surface, the distance between the frames for the CYCLO LED profiles and the projection screen can be adjusted by motor between approx. 18 and 25 cm. This results in different resolutions on the projection screen. The studio was completed in May 2012.
